Marmaduke charms Phil with his "Get out of the f***ing chair before I dismember you," look. Phil seems on the verge of tears at having done something to upset Marmaduke. If Marmaduke had wanted the chair earlier, it's unlikely that he'll want it now as Phil appears to have soiled it. All in all though, Phil should consider himself lucky that Marmaduke allows him to remain in the house with him, Dottie and the kids.
